Belizean-American street food from sisters-in-law Yelitza Lavin and Emily Lavin, with pupusas, tamales, handmade sauces and Belizean stewed chicken with coconut rice and beans. Yelitza learned traditional tamale and pupusa methods in her mother’s kitchen in Belize, while Emily graduated from the California Culinary Academy and worked in catering and corporate event management.
